RED SHIELD CLUB.
The net proceeds of the recent: concert given by Mrs Freeman’s committee in aid of the funds ol the Red Shield Club amount to £25 Is Bd. The statement drawn up by the secretary of (he committee (Mrs Healey) shows that the sale of tickets realised £7 2s Od, the takings at the door £lB 3s Od, sale of •sweets £2 17s 2d, donations (Mrs John Robinson £1 Is, Mrs Healey £1 Is, Mrs Bock £l, Mr lying £l, Airs Freeman 12s Od, Airs Green 12s Od) £s'7y Od, a total of £33 9s 2d. The expenses being: rent of hall ami film, printing, advertising, and carting, £8 7s 6d. The personnel of this committee is as follows: Airs , Freeman (president), Airs John Robinson, Airs Baker, Airs Green, Aliss Bryant, and Mrs Healey (secretary).
