James Bassett, licensee of the Woodlands Hotel, pleaded guilty to selling ihjiior in the no-license district of Malaura. -A constable, in liis evidence, said that he stayed at the hotel a day or so, and when leaving bought - two bottles of beer at fifteen pence each. Defendant was fined £4O.
