YOUNG WOMAN’S LAPSE.

Dunedin, Sept. 21. Louie Inglis, a young woman, appeared at the Police Court to-day on a charge of stealing two. postal packets. Accused, in a statement, said she had her correspondence addressed to the chief post office, and a card addressed to Miss Inglis was delivered to hex’ requesting hex to call at the parcel office for a par-' cel. She signed the hook and received two parcels, but on opening them found they were not for her, but she kept them for some time, and was ashamed to take them hack.. Defendant pleaded guilty, and was committed for sentence.
