FOXTON HARBOUR BOARD.
The Fpxlon Harbour Hoard’s bal-ance-sheet for the year ended December 31st, IhlS, has been received back from the Audit OJlice, duly certified to. The general account shows that the year started with a credit of £431 7s IGd, and the receipts for the year were as follow: Rents, etc., signal station reserve £l5O 15s Od, rents (Beach) £135 Ids od, pilotage £123 7s KJd, river lighting. £39, interest £l7 10s Od, rent wharves £9, rent telephone £0 10s Od, and rates £4 9s Od. The expenditure totalled £BO4 Os Od, leaving a credit balance at the end of the year of £l3B 7s Id. The chief items of expenditure were: Harbourmaster and assistant £234 19s 3d, expenses in connection with poll £258 8s lOd, office expenses £7O 16s Bd, benzine and kerosene £43 17s (id, members’ travelling expenses £34 19s 2d, Chairman’s honorarium £25, maintenance and repairs £24 0s Od, repairs to pilot's residence £24 8s lid, and survey of sections £lO.
The statement of assets and liabilities shows an excess of assets of £3,421 17s sd.
