MAN SHOT DEAD. (By Telegraph —Special to Herald.) ’Wellington, This Afternoon.. A murder is reported from Strdnvar, about 30 miles from Masterton. Charles Reside was shot dead by Christopher Carr. The police have gone out to the ■scene of the tragedy, which is inaccessible to motors. No'further particulars arc yet available.
