F. -Massey, Prime Minister, retains Industries and Commerce, Labour and Licet ora I, and he takes Railways and the 1 oliee Force. Mr Massey retains control of the Department of Imperial Government Supplies. Sir James Allen retains Defence, and takes in addition Finance, Stamp Duties, Land and Income Tax, State Guaranteed Advances Department. He will also retain ’War Pensions, which hits always previously been considered part of the Defence Administration. The Hon. W. H. Herries retains Native Affairs, and takes in addition Customs and Marine, Inspection of Machinery, Pensions, National Provident Fund, and he will still be chairman of the Repatriation Board. Sir William Fraser retains Public? Works, and takes also Mines, Hoads, Legislative Departments, and Public Buildings. ■Sir Francis Bell retains the offices of Attorney-General, Commissioner of Slate Forests, and-Minis-ter of Immigration, and he becomes also Minister of Education, Public Health, Hospitals and Charitable Aid, Mental Hospitals, and Valuation. The Hon. D. IT. Gut brie will take mi new portfolios, Iml be will keep Lands, Lands for Settlement, Soldiers’ Land Settlement, aipl Scenery Preservation. The Hon. J. B. Hine will be Minister of Internal Affairs, and will take also the Departments of Friendly Societies, State Fire Insurance, Planting and Stationery. The Hon. W. Noswurthy will be Minister of Agriculture, and he will have charge also of the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts.

The,Hon. J. G. Coates will be Minister of Justice and , PostmasterGeneral, and he will take charge of the Public Trust Office, and of the Government Life and Accident Insurance.
