WATERING MILK.

DAIRYMAN FINED £50., Nelson, Aug, 28, At the Magistrate’s Court to-day Henry G. Kingsland, dairy farmer, of Appleby, was fined £25 on each of two informations charging him with selling milk containing added water. The analysis of three samples showed that they contained respectively 22 per cent., 20 per cent., and 19 per cent, of added water and ■solids other than fats. The milk was also below the required standard.
