NEW SCHOOL FOR BAINESSE.
A GRANT APPROVED
The need of a new school for Bainesse has been apparent for some lime past, and the settlers, with the assistance of the member for the district (Mr E. Newman) M.P.),-who have worked hard to secure this concession, will he pleased that their efforts have been successful. The following letter in reference lo Hie matter has been received by Air Newman from, the Minister for Education: —“1 have pleasure in advising you that Cabinet lias approved of a grant for the erection of a school at Bainesse on the site recently acquired for the purpose, and the Wanganui Education Board is being notified accordingly,”
