CIRCULAR FROM THE RAILWAY DEPARTMENT. Information lias been received ‘by the Flaxmillers’ Association from the Railway Department to the effect that the Department has agreed to supply 18 trucks per week, from Monday next, 25th inst., for the carriage of hemp between Linton and* Koputaroa, and suggest (lie following loading clays: —Linton, two trucks on Saturdays; Tokomaru, two trucks on Tuesdays; Makerua, one truck on Saturdays; Shannon, three on .Mondays, one on Tuesdays, three on Wednesdays, three on Fridays, and Koputaroa three on Thursdays.

The Department cannot* accept hemp on the Foxton line for'Wellington, but will accept for Foxton from Karere and Rangiotn as trucks become available.
