A ROYAL LANDING' PLACE. New York, Aug. 18. The Halifax correspondent of the New York Times states that the Prince of Wale.-' landed at the spot, where his grandfather, King Edward VIL, landed in IHBO, and his father landed in 1001. British. French, and Italian warships iif the harbour tired a salute. The Prince visited the part of the city devastated by the great explosion in December, 1817. Addresses from the Governments of Nova Scotia and Halifax were presented to the Prince.
