BILLIARD SALOON RAIDED.
■ Invercargill, Aug. 13. As the result of a raid by the police, William Atkinson was charged with using his billiard saloon as a common gambling house, and William Rateliffc was charged with aiding him. Accused were remanded till Friday, hail being allowed.
