Cr. Hannah drew attention to Hie very bad stale of a number of footpaths in the Borough. These, he said, Avere very slippery in wot weather, and should he top-dressed with metal or ashes. He- niOA'cd that the footpaths in AA'enue Road, Coley ami Union Streets be top-dressed Avith metal or ashes at the first opportunity. The motion avss seconded by Cr. Rand, and carried.
