SCHOOL FOOTBALL.

The Levin D.H. school football team visited Foxton on Saturday, and played a match against the local school team, on the racecourse. The game was a very interesting one, and resulted in a win for Foxton by 15 points to nil. The tries were scored for Foxton by G. Westwood, S. Thompson, K. McMurray (2) and W. Christie. The Foxton boys gave a good exhibition of forward and back play. Some of their passing rushes were above the usual school form. The Levin team did not display the same effective combination, but with practice should develop into a good team. Mr W. Neville refereed.

There is a likelihood of some of the Foxton boys being included in the Manawatu primary rep. team, to take part in the schools’ representative tournament at Wellington shortly.
