PARTIES TO A STRIKE.
WOOLLEN WORKERS AT . ROSLYN FINED.
Dunedin, Yesterday.
In the Magistrate’s Court, twelve spinners at the Eoslyn Woollen Mills were charged with a breach of the Conciliation .and Arbitration Act, in that they became parties to a strike on 31st March. It was stated for the prosecution that the strike lasted eight days, and the nonproduetion of yarn during that time resulted in the loss of £3,000 to the employers. It was stated that harmonious relations now prevailed. Each defendant was fined £2.
