LIMBLESS SOLDIERS.
A TOTAL OF 960 IN N.Z.E.F. The total number of members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force who had arms or legs amputated as a result of service during the late war was 960. Of these., 270 had arms amputated. Seventy-five also had hands partially amputated.
