HIS LAST WATCH.
Dunedin, Last Night
Thomas Thornton, over 80 yearsof age, employed as watchman at Port Chalmers, was crushed between two railway trucks during shunting operations on Monday evening. He was removed to the cottage hospital, where he died today.
