WORKERS’ EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION.
The class in Economics which was formed in Foxton lasi April has now completed half its course. This has consisted of industrial history, which is a necessary introduction to' the subject. The meetings are held in (he Council Chambers, and the discussions, which are the essential feature of W.E.A. work, have been very, interesting and instructive. The present is an opportune time, for any who'want to join the class, as the study of Economies proper will begin next week. The book used will be Clays “Economics for the General Header,” a thoroughly modern work first published in ,1916. Those wishing to join should attend at the Council Chambers on Friday evening, at 7.30 o’clock. Mr Furrie, secretary of the class, will take the names of want to order their books, as these have to be obtained from Wellington. The subject of-this week’s lecture will be “Schools of Political Economy,”
