WEDDING.

PEDERSEN—BURLING,

A pretty wedding was celebrated at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr and Mrs George Burling, Orona Downs, yesterday morning, the contracting parties being Mr Edward Pedersen, of Oroua Downs, and Miss Burling. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Marjorie Burling, as bridesmaid, and Mr Ernest Burling was best man. The Rev. J. H. Bredin wa.s the officiating clergyman. At the conclusion of the ceremony a large number of guests partook of the wedding breakfast, and in the evening a dance was held. Mr and Mrs Pedersen, who were the recipients of a large number of presents, will take up their permanent residence in the Haleombe district.
