FOXTON RACING CLUB.

IMPROVEMENTS AT COURSE

The Foxton Racing Club is at present undertaking a scheme of improvements at the course, a number of the buildings being shifted baf'k on to the land recently purchased from the Foxton Borough Council to make more room for the public. The outer booth and publican’s booth have been shifted, and the totalisator house has been extended by 30ft, and provision made for about 10 new receiving windows, and also for additional pay-out windows. The straight-has been ploughed up ami re-sown, and the grass has come away well, and should be in really tip-top order for the next race meeting:. The sand gallop has been top-dressed with some good soil, which has been a great improvement. It is probable that other improvements will be made in the pear future.
