FLAXMILL FIRE.

SCUTCHING SHED DESTROYED. ' ESTIMATED DAMAGE, £3,000. Wairoa, July 4. The scutching shed on the premises of the Wairoa Flaxmills, Ltd., was totally destroyed by fire this morning. The fire started at 7 o’clock, and burnt all the morning. The damage is setimated at close on £3,000, It is not known how the fire started, but it is suggested that it was caused by spontaneous combustion, The insurances are not available at present. It is understood that the company’s loss is serious.
