JUNE GRADING RETURNS
During the month of June, the total number of bales of hemp graded was 4,168, as compared with 0,073 for the corresponding month last year, a decrease of 5,515 bales. For the twelve months ended 30th June, 1019, the number of bales graded was 1.13,643, as compared with 169,700 for the previous twelve months, a decrease of 56,057 bales. During the month 602 bales of tow were dealt with, as compared with .1,059 for the same month last year, :i decrease of 1.057 bales. For the twelve months ended 30th June, 1919, 17,435 bales were graded, as compared with 35,284 for the previous twelve months, a decrease of 17,849 bales. No stripper-slips were graded last month. For the same month last year 144 bales of No. 2 grade were graded. For the twelve months ended 30th June, 1919, 455 bales were graded, as compared with 1,906 for the previous twelve months, a decrease of 1,451 bales.
