WORKERS’ DWELLINGS.
All those interested in putting in applications for the erection of workers’ dwellings in Foxton are re-' minded of the meeting to be held in the Borough Council Chambers tomorrow (Wednesday) night, at 7.30 o’clock. Mr Mercer informs us that he lias been waited upon by several persons interested, and there appears every likelihood of the minimum number of applications required by the Department going forward. It must be understood that applications from those not possessing land or homes of their own will only, be considered. The Mayor is taking a keen interest in the matter, and all details as to the working of the system will be fully explained at tomorrow night’s meeting.
