ENTERTAINMENTS.
THE DANDIES.
It is doubtful if there is a more popular body of entertainers known to local audiences than Mr Brans-, combe's well-knowii company, “The Dandies.”- These clever artists are to appear in the Town Hall next Tuesday night, and on the record of success achieved in other towns and cities of the Dominion should attract a large audience. Of the abilily and versatility of “The Dandies” little need he said. They do not come as strangers, for “The Dandies” of the past have established very firmly a fine reputation, and it is said that this is worthily upheld by the latest combination. The preformance given by the visiting company is said to be particularly bright, and most acceptable to a public whose nerves are jaded after four years of the stress of war. “The Dandies” are essentially a cheerful combination. In music, jest and dance they find an outlet tor their joint and several efforts, and report says that they are eminently successful in their efforts. This smart little company arc securing a most successful tour, and it is said that in all places visited the I heal res are too small to accommodate the crowds desiring admission. Records were made in several places, where it was considered no comp'any could command an audience for more than three nights: yet “The Dandies” succeeded in establishing themselves for double that period, and crowding the theatre each evening. This may he accepted, (hen, as a recommendaliotf that (lie company appearing next Tuesday is well qualified to satisfy the desires of a public in search of pleasure and healthy relaxations. Popular prices will he charged, and the fmx plan opens on Saturday at Mrs Teviotdale’s.
