The third lecture given to flic Economics Class under the above Association dealt with the. subject of village communities am! the Manorial system. This made a very interesting lecture, as the details of villeinage and the open held, system of agriculture are unfamiliar to (lie general reader. Some of the textbooks ordered by the class have come to hand, and were distributed by Mr Eurrie, secretary of the local branch. Mr Henderson, tutor of the class, has jus) received a letter ProH-iilor, of Victoria College, saying that a class library will be provided in the near future. The class is now gelling into it.-, stride, :;>■'] intending wombe-ra should attend at once if they want to gel any competent knowledge of the subject.
