FIRE IN WELLINGTON.
PAINT STORE DESTROYED. AVellington, Last Night. A fire broke out to-night in a twostoried brick-building in Lower Taranaki Street, used by T. A. Wells as a paint store. The building was completely gulled, and the stock of paints, Avail-papers, etc., Avhich were valued at £IO,OOO, were totally destroyed. The insurances held in (lie Guard ian Office is £I.OOO, Phoenix Office £2,000, and South British £I,BOO. The building, which was held on lease from the estate of -the late Trillinm Fox, was insured for £BOO.
