INFLUENZA.

RECORD OF CASES

Between 14th and 171 h April, 38 cases of influenza were notified to (he Public Health Department. In the Auckland health, district there were 11 cases, at! mild, except one gastric case at Ohura. The number of cases in the Wellington district was IS —two at Eltham, both epidemic; six in Wellington City, four severe and two mild; and at Pahiatua two mild cases and one pneumonic. All the other cases were mild. In tho Canterbury district five cases were notified —three mild and (wo pneumonic shipping cases from the steamer Koromiko. In the Otago district there was one mild case of epidemic type in the Vincent Hospital district.
