RETURNING TROOPS.
The Ajan's troops were landed at Auckland -yesterday. They are mostly 1> Class men, that is, not quite fit for active service, and included 200 who have never been in action. All are walking cases. Corporal Hartnett disappeared on .IOIh March. The troops are in good health, except for an intermittent outbreak of mumps, of which seven cases have been removed to hospital there. A. fortnight after leaving England, and five days off the New Zealand coast, heavy weather was experienced. Calls were made at Norfolk (in Virginia), and tl>e Pitcairn Islands. KAIKOUKA'S DiLUT. Latest advices arc that the Kaikotira (returning draft No. 230), from Egypt, will arrive at Wellington on 17th April.
