FOXTON RIFLE CLUB.
A general meeting of. members of the Foxlon Rille Club was held on Thursday evening. Mr J. Hartley occupied I he chair, and there was a good at tendance of members. Air Kells, a liiemher of the Linton Rifle Club, was present, ami wa's elected an honorary member during his stay in Foxton. It Avas decided lo purchase the necessary material to carry telephone wires, and to cited the necessary repairs io the telephone, the work to he done hy Messrs IT. Hamer and Barnard. It was decided lo he represented at the Wanganui Rille meeting at the end of the month, and the following were selected to represent Foxton in the teams match: —R. Rand, C. Rand, J. Hartley, 11. Hamer and A. Barnard. Emergency, TV. Symons. On Saturday next, the 29th instant, all members are requested to roll np for class tiring for the annual grant of ammunition. It was decided to invite the Linton Rille Club to fire a return match on the local range some time nexti month. Various suggestions for improvements at the range were discussed, but after consideration it was decided that temporary repairs only he carried out in the meantime, and that the creel ion of a new shed he held over until next season.
