BOWLING.

On tSatimliiy afternoon a rink from (lie Terrace End (dull visited Eoxton and played a local rink skipped by Nye. The result was a win for the homo team by 8 points. The following' are the teams and scores: — Eoxton Terrace End. McKnight, Oakley I). Whiblcy Wallace E. Whiblcy Bailey Aye ( s ) 19 Davidson (s) IJ. Local bonders ore in for a good lime to-morrow, when two rinks from the Palmerston and one each from (he Manawatu and Levin Clubs will visit Eoxton. Play will commence at 10 o'clock in the morning. The visitors will be entertained at lunch, and also at morning and afternoon tea. All local players are requested to be on the green early, so that a punctual staid can be made. On Saturday rinks from the Manawatu Club were successful in winning the Dixon Cup from Woodviile, and the Munson and Barr Cup from Eeilding.
