The Chief Electoral Officer, h;is issued a statement to the effect that every member of the Expeditionary Forces who has already returned to New Zealand should make application for enrolment on the regular electoral roll of the district in which lie resided before the'left Xew Zealand. He lias not lost the right of enrolment by reason of having been absent on active service. He can obtain an absent, voter’s permit if he expects to he out of his district on election day. .Men already discharged, or whose dis> (barges will become final before JOth April, can only vote as electors of a district, and cannot have their votes recorded under the special provisions for members of the Expeditionary Forces, of which he will then be no longer a member. This applies to all men who have arrived, or who may arrive before March 3rd nest.
