ARRIVAL OF TRANSPORT.
Wellington, Feb. 28. The Jiealandin, with returning draft: No. 127, berthed this morning, and the men disembarked. They speak well of the treatment they received on the voyage out, -and especially of the hospitality extended to them on their way through the Panama* Canal. - The Auckland, Manawatu, and Wairarapa men left this afternoon, and the South Island men will go south by the Maori and Pateena tonight. The Tai’auaki and Hawke’s Bay men leave by the ordinary express to-morrow.
