BODY OF AN INFANT FOUND.
Christchurch, Jan. 28. , Shortly after the express from Dunedin to Christchurch passed Stmlholme Junction yesterday, some employees of the Labour Department discovered the body of a newly-born infant wrapped in paper. On arrival of the express at Christehureh, police invesligrtions were made, but without result. Ihe body of the child was removed to "Waimate, where an inquest will be held. The circumstances suggest that the body was dropped from the train.
