DISEASE IN WHEAT.
Christchurch, Jan. 21. Air A. Macpberson, of the Agricult ura I Department, Avas asked today about Hie prospects of wheat; in Canterbury, in view of the disease among Hie crops. lie replied that apparently (ho disease was spreading, and it would be difficult at (he present time to say what yield would be cropped. On Hie Avliole, it Avas looking very promising, and if the present, trouble bad not come there would have been a good harvest.
