BAKER'S CIRCUS. Bakers Circus will appear iu I oxton for one night only uu Wedncsdiiy next (race night). The circus has recently been re-organis-ed, ami a number oi‘ arlists specially engaged from Australia, and now appears with no less than 30 artists, all of whom are well worlh seeing. The management has specially engaged the Mackie Sisters, who have recently been touring Australia, and their turn alone is said to he well worth the price of admission. Other turns include Miss Barbarino, in her marvellous flexible contortion act, Count Macdonald, Scotch comedian and novelty dancer, who. came from England under engagement to the Harry Rickard Coy., Sloper, the Chinese perlormer, Ruby Macuttiug, serio and Eastern dancer, Willie Baker, the comedy kid, Violet Erettis, sou-, brelte and national dancer, Baker Sisters, wire walkers, Jerry, the Irish clown, and Daiwood Sisters, I* rench acrobats. The company have a champion buck-jumper hi connection with which £1 will b given to any person able to stay oaf, his hack for a period of 30 Popular prices of admission will hfl eharged.
