The Committee has cone to considerahle I.rouble and exjiense to make the courts and surroundings attractive, and everything is now in good order for a successful season. The influenza scourge and the unseasonable weather have had a bad effect on play up to the present, but the committee trusts that renewed interest will plaee the elub in I its old flourishing condition. The courts have been top-dressed with sand and tar, and re-marked, while the pavilion has been painted inside and out, and a new lank creeled. Arrangements are being made to institute a ladder competition, and enquiries are to be made from the Shannon and Levin Clubs with re-i gard to arranging inter-club matches.
