RAILWAY HOLIDAY TRAFFIC.
In order to cope with the increased passenger traffic during the holidays, (he Railway Department has arranged lo run an extra express daily on the North Island Main Trunk line from each end from .’Wednesday next, 1811 1 December, until (Slh January, HUD. The present express leaves Thermion for Auckland at 12,15 p.m., and the extra express is to follow at 2 p.m. The expresses from Auckland will start at 7,10 and 7.40 p.m.
