An elderly man named Samuel Robinson, a surfaceman employed by the W'aitotara (Aunity Council, was killed last night at Kai Iwi, being knocked down by a motor car. Deceased, who is very deaf, apparently crossed the road in front of the car, which was not travelling fast, the occurrence being a pure accident. He leaves a widow and child. i
