THE LIQUOR BILL.

PASSED BY THE. HOESE OF REPRESENTATIVES.

On Tuesday night the Liquor Bill wont rapidly through ail stages in the House of Representatives. There was some evitieism of various clauses, but nothing like a “stonewall’’ was built on any section. There was evidence that the friends of “the two great parties” (as the Prime Minister termed the Liquor and Prohibition Parties) did not wish to make serious obstacles. Many clauses were put through as fast as the Chairman of Committee could give the titles and numbers.
