The Borough Treasurer reported at Just night’s Council meeting as under: —
Tile sum oi’ £1,910 Is 9d was received during the mouth of October, and placed to credit as under: District fund’account, £1,005 Ids 3d, cemetery account £lO 7s Gd. The balances of the various funds at the Dank of Mew Zealand as at the Gist October, 1918, were as follows: District fund account, debit, £450 10s Bd, cemetery account, credit, £34 15s 7d, ami the ledger balances at ibe same lime as fellows: Cemetery £34 15s 7d, hospital and charitable aid £45 17s Id, library £l3 15s Bd, reserves £72 11s (id, sanitation £213 9s lUd, town hall £l2B 4s Od, Whirukino bridge interest £22 Is 2d, roads and streets loan £l9 11s 2d, ■Shannon bridge £2O 11s lOd, Council Chamber £SO 3s 2d, W’hirokino bridge additions £lB 2s Bd, roads and streets Mo, 2 £9 15s sd, Deach road £ll Is lid, a total of £GGO Is Od. The accounts at debit were; Imprest cash £lO, gas works £535 19s lOd, general £421 3s Od, gas works interest £42 13s 3d, and town hall interest £O9, total £l,OBl 10s Id. - ‘ BCMMABY.
