Wellington, Last Night

Commissioner Dodder stated at a meeting to-night that the Salvation Army’s self-denial effort established a record, totalling £50,001 15s 3d, exceeding last year's total by over £II,OOO. The total for the Auckland division was £9,974, Christchurch £0,470, Wellington £0,305, Central (North) £21,282, Dunedin (North) £21,282, Dunedin £0,400. The total of the Red .Jersey Fund, which hud just been closed, was £102,285 7s 5d —Auckland division £35,915, Christchurch £8,709, Central (North) £30,888, Dunedin £14,058, Wellington £2,713.
