The first game this season for the Nyc Ferns was played on Thursday afternoon, when a challenging rink skipped fry Christie succeeded in wx'esting the trophies from the holders. The Fox ton Club will be. represented at the opening by three or four rinks. All players who wish to make the trip must put their names on the board at the green, or notify the secretary this evening. The first match this season for the Dixon Cup, held by Bartholomew’s Feilding rink, will be played on Wednesday next, the challengers being a rink from the Shannon Club skipped by Larking.
