A complete list of cash donations will be acknowledged later. # * * * Shannon has come to light with assistance as the result of a canvass by Mrs Cronqnest, and gifts are acknowledged from Messrs Gibson, Gunning, Carter (two hams), Fargher, Moynihan 10s, and thanks to Mr F. Rout for free carriage. Mrs Thynne (whose late husband was for many years chairman of the School Committee) has forwarded a donation of 10s. # * * * Stall-holders are requested to make a list of their total takings, including cash donations. A willing band of workers were busy at the hall this morning, arranging stalls, etc. * * * -Sr Owing to a number of the bandsmen and others who promised to assist, not being able to get . off this afternoon, the procession, which was to be carried out by Mr Colder, iuul to be abandoned.
