PATRIOTIC SHOP.
Saturday was Men’s Day at the Patriotic Shop. The takings were in aid ol’ the funds of St. Dunstan’s Hospital for Blind Soldiers. The net amount raised was £2l 10s. Messrs Rev. Rainc, W. E. Bhrber, Crawley and Harvey were in charge. Competitions wore won by the following: —Sheep, 49J lbs., C. A. Pearson, .Mrs Anderson, Airs McCarthy, IV. Sapsford and G. Hartley; gentlemen’s outfit, Mr Bryant; bag of coal, Miss J., A. Ross; camisole, Mrs Crawley. Gifts are acknowledged from Mrs Rainc, Mrs Brown, Mrs Harvey, Mrs Alex. Ross, Mr W. Davis, Mrs F. Robinson, Mr W, Barber, Misses K. and S. Barber, Mrs Healey, Mrs Woodrnofc, Mr T. Rimmer, Mrs Fraser, Mrs Chrystall, Mrs C. Robinson, Miss Armstrong, Miss Lorna Robinson, Girls’ Guild, Airs Galland, Mrs Crawley, Air Kellow, Air Furrie, Aliss AlcGregor, Airs A. Green, Airs A.
