FOXTON TENNIS CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual general meeting' of members of the Fox ton Tennis Club was held last night. Mr A. J. Kellow presided over a fair attendance of members.
The annual report and balancesheet, as published in Saturday's issue, was read and adopted. The following ollieers were eleeted for the ensuing pear: —Patron, Mr John Chrystall; president, Mr A. Eraser; vice-presidents, Messrs Dr. Mandl, A. Ross, E. S. Easton, A. J. Kellow, F. Robinson and W. E. Barber; secretary, Mr E. Jackson; treasurer, Miss M, Wanklyn; committee, Misses Bryant, Hawke, I. Robinson, B. Fraser, and Messrs MeMurray, Kellow, Simmons, McEwen and Shorn.; match committee, Messrs MeMurray, Kellow and Jackson; auditor, Mr Cronqnesl. The following new members wore elected; Miss Christie, Messrs H. M. Shcra, L. J. Furrio, Sanderson and Hynes.
The matter of improvements to the courts and pavilion were left in the hands of the mateh committee, with power to net. It was decided to officially open (ho season on Wednesday, October fllh. A vole of thanks to the chair terminated thq meeting.
