MUSICAL EXAMINATIONS.
LOCAL RESULTS. The examination for the Trinity College of ’Music, London, was held at Saint Mary’s Convent Centre on Thursday by Mr Charles Schilshy. Twelve pupils were presented, and all passed;—Preparatory division. —lnes Easton, Dolly Spiers, Maggie Hynes, May Thompson (singing), Rita Perreau, Esme Oxley. Among the successful candidates at the recent practical examinations held in Palmerston in connection with the Trinity College of Music (London) appeared the name of Master Ros. Stevenson (Miss Honore), 71 marks, gaining first place in the junior division for the Palmerston Centre, and Miss Verna Sherratt (Miss Honore), 75 marks, gaining second place in the preparatory division,
