AUCKLAND ARRIVES IN WELLINGTON. A telegram from Auckland announces that the Auckland Copper Trail has reached Thorndon. The Auckland people have raised over £93,000 in order to accomplish this feat, and thus Avin the contest. The complete Auckland trail and the incomplete Wellington trail represent coni ri hit (ions to the Red Cross funds amounting to over £125,000. Last week the Wellington Hail went forward 20 miles, and the end now rests at Mangaweka, 148 miles from Thorndon. It is the intention of the Wellington Committee to carry on the itppeal until the closing of “Our Day” appeal on October' 24th.
