MOTOR MISHAP.
Eketahuna, Sept. 13. A motor car driven by Mr Henrys, son of the racing handicapper, and containing another gentleman, went over a 30 feet hank into the Makakahe river,'near Eketahuna, at noon. Both men were thrown clear of the ear. Mr Henrys was seriously injured, and the other man, whose name was not ascertainable, sustained a compound fracture of the arm. Both were taken to the Masterton Hospital. Mr Henrys subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
