THE BON TONS.
A company of about a dozen juveniles from Napier*, styling' themselves the “Bon Tons/* gave an entertainment in the Town Hall, to a fair and appreeiative audienee, on Tuesday night. The idea of the tour was to afford the young .people an opportunity of seeing the country, and the entertainment was a means to this end. The programme was a versatile one, consisting of solos, duets, quartettes, ventriloquial turn, humourous sketch, and one or iwo local hits. Some of the young people displayed marked talent, the dancing being particularly good. The entertainment on the whole was much appreciated by the audience, most of the vocal items being encored. The staging and dresses were in good taste, and there was an absence of vulgarity.
