PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

Recently a visitation of the Wanganui Presbytery was held In Eoxton, and the following is the deliverance which was read by the Rev. T. Miller, M.A., Feilding, on Sundav

“The Presbytery, having heard the report of the commission appointed to visit the Foxton charge, desires to place on record its gratification at the work being carried on by the minister, ofiiee-hearers, and people. It notices with pleasure the very harmonious relationship subsisting between the minister and people, and the evident signs of the divine blessing in the spiritual and materia! progress of the congregation. The first of these is shown by the steady increase in the number of those who have joined the membership of the Church by profession of faith in the three years under review, viz.; 1,3, and 12, respectively; the second is shown by the increase in (be annual income. The property of the congregation has also been much improved, and is carefully kept. Finally, the Presbytery commends the minister, office-hearers and people to the grace of Him Who is able to keep them from falling, and to present them perfect before the presence of His Glory with exceeding joy.”
