THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows a I noon to-day:— Freshening southerly winds strong to gale, and backing .by west to south after about 24 hours. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Barometer falling, but rising after 24 to 3(i hours. Sea considerable and increasing, tides good.
